Baning the keeping of primates as pets

I've just come from a DL (Delegated Legislation) Committee where we've passed new regulations to ban anyone without a specialist licence from keeping primates as pets. This will prevent primates from being kept in domestic settings where the welfare standards they need can't be met.

The Spitfire Project

Yesterday, I met with Dave, who is involved in a particularly unique project connected to #Rushcliffe. This project is the restoration of Spitfire AA810!

Grassroots Funding in Rushcliffe

Today we're announcing £93 million funding for projects across the UK including here in #Rushcliffe

The funding will go towards helping Ruddington Village FC, East Leake Bantams F.C. and Cotgrave FC.

Today is Holocaust Memorial Day. We remember the six million Jewish men, women and children and others who were murdered in the Holocaust and we pay tribute to the survivors, who share the pain and suffering they endured.
