Skin Cancer Awareness Month

May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month. My grandfather died from a melanoma so raising awareness of how to prevent skin cancer is really important to me.

Last week, I met charities who are doing just that. Including one, @skcincharity , based right here in West Bridgford.

Rushcliffe Spencer Academy is undergoing a major expansion and I’m pleased to say it is progressing at pace. I visited the team and had a look at the construction of the new teaching block which will include modern technology facilities, English and media classrooms, and a huge sports hall.
