Ruth Edwards is calling on all primary school children across Rushcliffe to take part in her annual Christmas Card competition for 2020. For those children who enter the winning design will be selected by Ruth to be used as her official Christmas Card for 2020.
This competition is open to all pupils in Rushcliffe Borough Primary schools and is a fantastic way for us to start getting into the Christmas spirit.
Pupils can design the card however they see fit, however the card must contain a clear Christmas theme and be designed on one sheet of A4 paper. The design can be submitted via Ruth’s constituency office at 17-19 Rectory Road, West Bridgford, Nottingham, NG2 6BE or alternatively, competition entries can also be emailed digitally to her by sending them to ruth.edwards.mp@parliament.uk.
Pupils are being encouraged not to forget their name, age and address on their submissions.
The deadline for entries was Monday 23rd November 2020.
On launching the competition Ruth Edwards said:
“This has been a tough year for us all and this Christmas will be a very unusual one to say the least. To help get into the Christmas spirit, I am asking pupils to submit a Christmas card drawing to my office with a chance for the winner to be chosen as my official Christmas card design for 2020.
“I hope you will join me in this great opportunity to spread some festive cheer throughout Rushcliffe and unleash the creative talent of children from across the area”
