Following my interview with BBC World Tonight I appeared on Newsnight to continue the discussion around the new Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Bill.
This Bill hasn’t come out of the blue, nor has the Government attempted to blindside anyone. This Bill was introduced on the recommendation of the Law Commission after an extensive public consultation.
This Bill is in the interests of wider society and attempts to challenge those who would try to serious disrupt society for their own gain.
