Wonderful to attend the Loveday Dementia Action Week Parliamentary drop-in event this week.
Dementia Action Week is an annual event, organised to raise awareness of the disease and how it can impact sufferers and those around them. There are currently 850,000 people in the UK living with dementia, around 1090 live in Rushcliffe. Continuing to support world-leading research into the disease is an absolute must if we are to find new effective treatments.
