Improving Health Services
This year has shown us just how much we rely on our brilliant NHS workers.
One of my first votes as your MP was to increase NHS funding by £34bn in this parliament. I also welcomed the Government’s commitment to a £4bn rebuild of the QMC and City hospitals and the immediate £2 million investment in A&E at the QMC.
Our fantastic NHS is constantly welcoming new talent, in fact we have seen 13,718 nurses and 7,810 doctors join the NHS this year.
In Rushcliffe, I’ve started my campaign for a new health centre in East Leake and look forward to welcoming a Minister to visit soon.
