Campaign Responses

While individual constituency enquiries are answered by email or letter, I will be adding my responses to various national campaign emails on this section of my website. You may also be able to find the information you are looking for on the website of the relevant Government department.

Please be aware that I took the decision before I was elected not to sign any Early Day Motions (EDMs). These have no chance of ever becoming law and, according to the House of Commons Library, cost £271 each to publish. I do not feel this is a good use of taxpayer’s money, nor do I feel this is an effective method of raising issues in Parliament. I continue to raise individual concerns with Ministers and on the floor of the House.
